The big space of Ministry of Education, Youth, and sport is filled with monks, citizen, student, police, and high ranking officers, especially relatives of student winning mathematical prize, naming Mey Channa, female,18 years old, coming from Takeo, and living in Phnom Penh Capital City.
Joining by Minister of Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport, Kol Peng who is the high representative of Hun Sen, Cambodia Prime Minister. "Mey Channa is the most clever and flexible student in Cambodia because she is continuing looking after her position as Mathematically Outstanding Student for three mandates." His Excellency Kol Peng admired by looking to Mey Channa's face.
Standing with morality on the forum in front of the honorable table, facing to the crowd of people, staying near microphone, Channa spoke softly and happily with confidence "On behalf of I am an outstanding student of Math, I am very happy to get the prize that I try to learn and study everyday, not three or four days before arriving examination." And she continued encouraging other students that I hope if you endeavor like me, you will get this chance next time.
Sitting among people with tear rolling down on the red check, Mrs. Mey Setha is 48 years old, and she is the mother of Channa. "I am very pleasure to see my daughter sitting near the high raking officers at the forum." She told reporter, "I am proud that I have a good daughter who is outstanding student."
Be noticed that every year of June, Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport always celebrates this event in order to promote and find yearly outstanding student of Cambodia. 1000 to 2000 students come from all city and province of Cambodia to join this event that has been established since 2000.
